I want to renew my US SAILING membership. Does my US SAILING member ID stay the same? |
| Yes, your US SAILING member ID will remain the same every year. This is true even if your membership type changes or your membership becomes inactive at any period of time. |

I am a member, but I would like to switch my membership type. What should I do? |
| You can select any appropriate membership type while renewing your membership. You can view our Individual membership optionsor our Organizational membership options. If you need to change the membership type of a current membership, please contact the membership department. |

I have a family membership. Why am I having trouble with my family membership ID? |
| Within a family membership, every member has their own individual membership ID. This provides each family member with the ability to set up their own login information on the website in addition to individual name recognition when registering for events, regattas and courses. |

How do I add more family members on to my family membership? |
| You can add family members while renewing your membership. Each member of the family has a unique membership ID that will remain theirs as long as they are a member. One spouse and children under the age of 18 or fulltime students can be added to your family membership while joining or renewing your family membership. You can also add family members from your My US SAILING account. Click here to log in. If you have a fmaily membership, there will be a tab to add family members. You can also contact the membership department if you have any questions. |

When does my membership expire? |
| You can find your membership expiration date on your membership card. Our Member Lookuppage will show you whether or not your membership is currently active, but will not reveal your membership expiration date. To check the exact expiration of your membership log into My US Sailing. Or if you do not have your membership card but need your membership expiration date, please contact the membership department. |

How do I request a new membership card? |
| Email membership@ussailing.org or call Please be sure to include your first and last name, membership ID and current contact information to ensure proper delivery. |

What is my username for logging on to the US SAILING website? |
| Your username for logging on is your membership ID. Please note that the last character of your member ID is a letter. That letter is case sensitive and should be capitalized. |

What is my password for logging on to the US SAILING website? |
| You can retrieve your password by using our online Password Recoveryfeature. Please note that the password will be emailed to whatever email address we have on file in your membership account. If you do not receive your password, please send an email to membership@ussailing.org containing your member ID, first and last name, preferred email address, and your desired new password. |

How can I change my password? |
| You can change your password using the Change Password function: To change your password you must know your current password and have an email address on file. You can reset your password using the Password Recover feature. Or if you do not have an email address or your email address is out of date you send an email to membership@ussailing.org containing your member ID, first and last name, preferred email address, and your desired new password. |

How do I update a change of address, phone number or e-mail address for my US SAILING membership? |
